'Patterns of Infinity' is an artist collaboration between Aidan Robertson and Iraninan artist Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian that feature as part of the 6th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art. This AS3 Flash project uses AS3 and geometry(not pre-drawn shapes) to allow users to develop their own 'Islamic style' patterns.
The project development was fully object orientated and involved building a standalone kiosk version and a a web version where users can animate, email, print and save their patterns. A third application was also built for the exhibition that constantly animates user's creations across four large format LCD screens.
